A few weeks ago I went to the Frida Kahlo exhibition at the V&A museum in London. I had three lots of Frida fabric in my stash, the one I used for this dress being the one I bought first and visiting the exhibition was the incentive I needed to get it made up (I really like it, like so much of my fabric stash there was no reason for it languishing, I'd just not got around to sewing it).
The pattern combo is the same as I used for the the bamboo batik dress
here. This version took 2.7m of fabric, because I did do a bit of pattern placement although I can't remember now exactly what that was!
Now I just need to get the two other Frida fabrics made up...
